How do subscriptions work?
Premium is offered as a 7-day free trial that converts to either $9.99 per month or $59.99 per year. Billing runs through Apple App Store or Google Play. You can cancel anytime under iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or Google Play → Subscriptions.
How many scans does the Free tier include?
Free includes 3 lifetime AI analyses and 1 lifetime Pool Store Mode comparison so you can try PoolSense before deciding. Premium unlocks 100 smart analyses per month, 30 visual analyses per month, and unlimited Pool Store comparisons.
Can PoolSense diagnose a medical or safety condition?
No. PoolSense provides educational guidance for residential pool care. For commercial pools, pools used by infants or immunocompromised swimmers, or any health concern, consult a certified pool service professional or your doctor.
Will PoolSense ever recommend mixing chemicals?
Never. PoolSense always recommends one chemical action at a time. Read the full safety notice on the Disclaimer page.
Where is my data stored?
Scan history stays on your device by default. When AI assistance is needed (for example unclear strip photos), the image is sent securely to OpenAI for analysis and is not retained for training. Details live in our Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my data?
Open the app, go to Settings, and use Reset onboarding to clear local state. To request deletion of any cloud-side records, email support@aurabionics.com.
I think the scan misread my strip. What now?
Try again under bright, even light with the strip held vertically inside the alignment frame. If the result still looks wrong, use Manual entry from the Scan tab to enter values directly. Email us a screenshot if you suspect a bug.
